Piston Inline Flow Measurement

Piston inline flow measurement has many benefits including free mounting position, small number of components, high operating pressures, setpoint adjustability and no need for an external power supply.
The measuring principle of piston inline flow measurement uses a spring-loaded piston that is displaced by the flow stream. The displacement increases with flow and can be used to actuate a switch or indicate flow rate.

The Senseca (Honsberg) OMNI-HD1K Mechanical Flow Meter is designed for liquid flow measurement. It features an IP67 display with an analogue output plus 2 programmable switch outputs. The display is rotatable around the process connections for easy reading. Configuration is by a rotating ring that can be removed to prevent unauthorised parameter changes.
